Dielectric rods (hot sticks) testing

Upon receipt at the laboratory, the insulating rods are documented and then cleaned.

 

These are then visually checked by our technicians.

The next step is electrical tests at the appropriate voltage for their class using Venko test equipment.

After completion of the tests, the rods are stamped and packaged for return to the customer.

Documentation accompanies the stick at all stages of testing, and any damaged stick is recorded and then destroyed.

Upon customer request, damaged equipment can be replaced with new products from our stock.
