    FAQ

Question: How often should live line equipment be tested?

Testing periods are specified in the IEC/ASTM standarts or result from the provisions of the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the given electrical insulating equipment. We recommend periodical tests - gloves and electrical insulating footwear every 6 months; - rods, voltage indicators, walkways and others every 12 months or in case of any doubt.

Question: What documents will I receive after testing my safety equipment?

Each tested equipment receives a test protocol in which all the data of the tested equipment is entered: serial number, operating voltage, test date, date of the next test, the standard in which the tests were conducted, etc.

Question: Will there be a mark on the equipment after testing?

Each piece of equipment tested will be marked with a sticker with the following information: serial number, operating voltage, test date, next test date, and protocol number.

Question: What happens if the equipment does not pass the test?

If during the test will be identified that the equipment does not meet the requirements of the standards or requirements of the manufacturer, we mark such equipment with the sign "DO NOT USE" and we do the protocol in which we explain why we prohibit the use of equipment. Equipment marked "DO NOT USE" will be returned to the customer. After customer inquiry we can offer purchase of new equipment from our partners.
